EDI Analyst (m/f)

Join us in our quest to become a leading EDI software supplier! Our customers are healthcare enterprises in the United States, and we have a solid stream of work and revenue. We are now expanding our capacity in Berlin.

We seek an EDI Analyst to help us with our document processing and transformation needs. Many of our applications are document-based; we employ XSLT, XSL, XQuery, BPMN, and document database technologies to successfully integrate and transform data into many different formats.

What you'll do:

  • Work together with our customer in the US and local development team on identifying, improving and documenting business processes related to data interchange and transformation
  • Review and analyze data interchange format descriptions, implementation companion guides, and sample files in the insurance domain
  • Support the operations team in fulfilling ad-hoc data analysis and data transformation requests
  • Support the product development team in data analysis and requirements identification, as well as testing the deliverables

What we expect from you:

  • At least bachelor degree on business informatics, computer science or similar discipline
  • Consistent reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • Interest in working with data in insurance domain (patient, provider, financial data)
  • Knowledge of SQL, xQuery
  • Familiarity with Marklogic or other XML NoSQL databases is a plus
  • Ability to process and analyse data in various formats (XML, Fixed-width, CSV, Excel)
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML etc.
  • Good English-language verbal and written communication skills

We are a software development shop specializing in the implementation of data processing systems for healthcare and insurance companies. We are owned by a major US player in the dental healthcare space and our systems play a crucial role in their day-to-day operations.
This is a permanent, full-time position in Berlin, Germany, requiring on-site presence; we are not presently offering visa sponsorship.
